Three-Tier Architecture

Core Enabler (CDAH)

What it is: IMACS’s central data and analytics hub, the “engine room” where AI research, model training, data harmonization, and governance templates live.
Role: This is the platform layer — powering all IMACS offerings.
Audience message: “CDAH is your sovereign environment to build, govern, and deploy AI-powered digital public goods.”

Core Intelligence (Foundation Model)

What it is: The AI brain developed and hosted in CDAH. A large, pre-trained, multi-modal foundation model fine-tuned to climate–health use cases.
Role: This is the intelligence layer — delivering probabilistic forecasts, counterfactual simulations, and explainable risk maps.
Audience message: “The Foundation Model translates complex climate + health data into reliable, actionable foresight.”

Country Solutions (EWS / Dashboards)

What they are: Tailored web platforms and decision-support tools (e.g., CIEWS+, national dashboards, subnational alert systems) co-designed with governments.
Role: This is the application layer — localized systems built on top of CDAH and the Foundation Model.
Audience message: “IMACS designs and deploys custom early warning and response systems that plug into national HMIS, meteorological feeds, and workflows.”
