The Institute for Health Modeling and Climate Solutions (IMACS) is a global AI Center of Excellence for healthier futures, established in 2022 with foundational support from Reaching the Last Mile and anchored by Malaria No More. We serve as an AI capability center for governments, multilaterals, and enterprises, harnessing AI, advanced data integration, and predictive modeling to build resilient health systems and improve decision-making at scale.

We began with a simple question: what if the world’s data and knowledge could be understood to shape better health outcomes? Our mission is to unlock the value of complex, multi-sector data and scientific knowledge to enable smarter decisions, stronger preparedness, and more resilient health systems. We unlock actionable intelligence from fragmented data sources using foundation models, interoperable digital public goods, and scalable implementation pathways.
