Koffi Emmanuel Yovo

Emmanuel is a medical doctor and PhD-trained epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience leading epidemiological analyses, evaluating disease surveillance systems, and translating data into evidence-based public health decisions across Sub-Saharan Africa. His work spans climate-sensitive diseases — including malaria, Lassa fever, and Ebola — and the integration of mathematical and geospatial modeling into national program strategy. On IMACS, he supports the design and rollout of Climate-Informed Early Warning Systems (CI-EWS) across six countries, focusing on epidemiological surveillance, data quality for AI/ML prediction tools, and platform interoperability. He has authored 20+ peer-reviewed articles, including publications in leading public health journals, and is a native French speaker with professional working proficiency in English, based in Cotonou, Benin.
